WELCOME TO DISCIPLESHIP

Romans 10:13-15 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Focus: Making Disciples of Christ

Training disciples to become strong and mature leaders in the body of Christ, in the church of Christ, and in their communities. Through those who are trained up in discipleship, God will grow the church from the inside out (Acts 2:38-47) - we are the church. These strong leaders will share God’s word throughout communities, and train other disciples in how to grow in God's grace and serve Him well.

John 13:34-35: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you; that you also love one another. By this, all will know that you are my disciples; if you have love for one another.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body [g]and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Corinthians 6:15-17 - Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

The Discipleship Ministry is a ministry of believers who are committed to reaching, serving, and impacting communities everywhere, by demonstrating God’s love through the fulfillment of His commands and the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Vision Statement

We envision communities united in love, transformed in heart, and empowered in the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the truth of the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Great Commission of Christ

Matthew 28:18-20 - All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.
