Revelation 13: The Beast from the Sea &
Good evening, welcome to our Friday Night Bible Study. Tonight, we continue our study of Revelation 13. In this chapter, God is warning us through John concerning a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns; but understand this, what is spoken in chapters 12 and 13 is symbolic of Satan’s hatred of Israel past, present, and future.
Satan’s persecution of God’s people continues even today; we know him to be the deceiver of the world. He not only deceived the nations; he deceived some of the angels as well, persuading a number of them to join him in his revolt against God (Revelation 12:3-4; Revelation 12:7-9; Isaiah 14:12-15). In this study we will be reading, discussing, and gaining further clarity related to the differences in:
